But if you buy a rib roast ask your butcher to cut it up into 1 to 1-1/2 inch steaks and you can save some $ (most butchers will cut it for free). Round steaks are cheaper but not real tender unless you heavily salt them with cooking salt for up to an hour, and rinse off the salt and surface moisture and dry just before grilling.
